Western Australia

Australia's largest state, Western Australia is famous for long days of sunshine and diverse landscapes and climates.

Step into a world of awe-inspiring beauty and discover experiences found nowhere else on earth. There’s nothing ordinary about a visit to Western Australia.

Western Australia occupies around one-third of Australia’s total landmass. That’s an area of nearly a million square miles and is famous for its spotless blue skies and brilliant beaches.

The big variety of landscapes and climates in Western Australia means there is always plenty of sunshine, making it a perfect year-round destination. It is a land blessed with spectacular diversity where the deep reds of ancient interior rock formations contrast with the sparkling blue of the Indian and Southern Oceans and the lush greenery of the stunning southern regions.

With so many places to stay in Perth, it is hard to make a choice.  Below are a few of our favorites and the reasons we love them so…

Perth 4 star –Medina Grand Perth.  We picked it because of it’s great sized apartment style rooms, in room washer and dryer (yah!) and it great menu in the restaurant.

Perth 5 star – The Richardson.  This is a very chic, boutique hotel located a short walk from town in a lovely leafy green suburb.  The restaurant is fabulous.

Broome –Cable Beach Hotel.  We singled it out because of its sensational location right on the beach, great array of room types dotted throughout the gardens and the huge number of activities available.
