Victoria Falls, elephant safari, zipline, tour a local village and meet the locals!
DAY ONE - WELCOME TO VICTORIA FALLS!
The Victoria Falls are just over a mile wide and nearly 145 million gallons of water cascade 230 to 350 feet into the chasm below - every minute - during the Zambezi River's peak flow.
Your driver will pick you up from Victoria Falls Airport and transfer you to you hotel, Victoria Falls Safari Lodge. Set high on a natural plateau, the westward facing Victoria Falls Safari Lodge borders the Zambezi National Park & is just over 2 miles from the thundering Victoria Falls. Enjoy uninterrupted views of spectacular African sunsets and year round game at its on-site waterhole.
DAY TWO – GUIDED TOUR OF VICTORIA FALLS AND TREETOP CANOPY TOUR
Victoria Falls is a truly awe-inspiring experience – the sight, the sound, the smell; the humbling feeling that here indeed is Nature's Supreme Masterpiece. No photograph can begin to depict the reality…and nothing prepares you for your first sight. Your guide will take you past the 'Big Tree' where you’ll want to stop and take photos. You’ll be accompanied through the Rainforest by one of our qualified Guides who will give a brief history of the Falls themselves as well as detailing the flora, fauna, bird & wildlife and other points of interest. Guides are also happy to assist clients with photographs while visiting this most spectacular of waterfalls. Raincoats/ponchos are provided when needed.
This tree top adventure offers a unique birds-eye view of one the seven natural wonders of the world. The Canopy Tour consists of 9 different slides, varying in length (with the longest being approximately 278 feet and the shortest being 131 feet) and 1 cable bridge walkway. This unique experience is suitable to adventure seekers of all ages. Observe the riverine forest from a variety of different vantage points – from above, below and within the canopy itself.
DAY THREE – ELEPHANT SAFARI AND TOWN TOUR
Take an extraordinary and exhilarating journey along the edge of the Zambezi gorges following ancient game trails. You will get a chance to meet and interact with the elephants before getting on your elephant and beginning the safari. The ride lasts for approximately 45 min to an hour. Seated comfortably on the back of nature’s true "king of the beasts", experience an age old tradition while silently exploring the majestic grasslands of Victoria Falls National Park and marvel at the spectacular scenery of Masuie river plunging 300 feet into the Zambezi River below. This is much more than just a game-viewing experience, but rather a closer insight into the world’s largest land mammal, the African Elephant. Includes a full English breakfast.
Experience Zimbabwe township life! The majority of people in Victoria Falls live in the Chinotimba, which has a population of approximately 60 000 people. During this tour, you will have an opportunity to observe township-life - from the oldest houses to the taverns, the local market and churches. During a visit to the Chinotimba Primary School you’ll be introduced to the school headmaster - he or someone assigned will take you on a tour of the school after which the children may sing a song (Please note that school visits are subject to the schools being open).
DAY FOUR – DEPARTURE

We recommend you see a health-care provider who specializes in Travel Medicine prior to your departure. Advise the health care provider what countries you are visiting. In addition to up to date routine vaccinations, the following vaccinations and immunizations are recommended: typhoid, hepatitis A, hepatitis B, polio, rabies and malaria. Several of these vaccines require more than one dose, or take time to become effective. It is always best to seek advice on immunization well in advance, if possible around 6 weeks before departure.
If you plan to cross into Zambia you will require proof of yellow fever vaccination. Vaccinations have to be conducted at least 10 days before arrival in Zambia.
